National Saturday Club - Free Opportunity for 13–16 Year Olds

We’re delighted to announce that the University of Derby's National Saturday Club is back for its 4th year, and we’d love your help to spread the word about this fantastic free opportunity for 13–16 year olds.
Across the UK, universities, colleges, and cultural institutions open their doors every Saturday to offer young people the chance to explore subjects they love – at no cost to them or their families.
Why promote the National Saturday Club?
Discover new talents. Young people can explore exciting subjects – from Art & Design to Science, Engineering, and more – and develop creative, technical, and life-changing skills.
Support wellbeing & confidence. Clubs bring together like-minded young people to build friendships, grow in confidence, and enjoy being part of something outside school.
It’s completely free. We will be running over 25 high-quality, expert-led sessions, with access to facilities, materials, and specialist teaching – all at no cost. From Autumn to summer, term time only.
Explore careers. Members connect with industry professionals, visit workplaces, and gain valuable insights into future education and career options.
Unlock opportunities. Participants enjoy exclusive trips, national events, and inspiring experiences – including a graduation and exhibition in London.
