Inspire your students with the world of creative careers this November

Schools and colleges across the UK are being invited to take part in Discover! Creative Careers Month 2025 - a nationwide initiative designed to inspire young people aged 11–18 to explore the diverse range of jobs and pathways available across the creative industries.

Taking place throughout November 2025, this industry-led programme connects young people directly with professionals from across the creative sector through in-school, workplace, and online events. Hundreds of employers will be volunteering their time to offer free, inspiring activities that showcase the variety of roles and skills within one of the UK’s most dynamic and fast-growing industries.

The Discover! Creative Careers website hosts a wide range of resources and tools to help schools plan meaningful encounters with industry professionals and support several Gatsby Benchmarks. These include industry-led lesson plans, film-based resources, and an interactive creative careers finder to help students explore potential pathways.

Educators can also integrate creative careers into their curriculum using the Schools Engagement Pack, a downloadable toolkit that provides practical guidance and activity ideas.

For parents and carers, there’s also the Discover Creative Careers Virtual Parents’ Evening, offering insights into how young people can turn their creativity into a fulfilling career.

And looking ahead — save the date for Dream Fest Creative Careers, taking place from April 30th to May 2nd, 2025.
